Belle Isle Charity Clay Bird Shoot Saturday 12 May 2018

Countryside Alliance Ireland is delighted to inform you about an event we have been helping to organise on behalf of two very worthy charities; The Countryside Alliance Foundation and the Irish Guards Benevolent Fund.

On Saturday 12 May 2018 a simulated game bird shoot, kindly hosted by His Grace the Duke of Abercorn, will take place at the beautiful Belle Isle Estate in County Fermanagh.

The event is shaping up to be a marvellous day out and the Committee have asked us to publicise the event to encourage additional participation from teams and individuals alike.

The day will take the form of a simulated 100 bird game shoot comprising 10 stands and a 25 bird flush located around the grounds of Belle Isle.  Teams of 4 guns will compete for the prizes (with individual entrants being placed into teams).

After the competition there will be a prize giving and this will be followed by a prosecco reception and gala dinner for both the shooting and non-shooting guests.

Over 250 guests are anticipated hailing from all over Ireland, USA, Monaco, Belgium, India, Sri Lanka, Africa and GB.  Silent and live auctions will be held and the Band of the Irish Guards will perform.

While the guns are shooting there are a number of activities for the non-shooting guests.  These include Sky’s Portrait of the Year, Gareth Reid, who will give a masterclass, archery lessons will be offered and Danni Barry (Clenaghans, Aghalee) will give a cookery demonstration.

Now for that all important information – the cost!  Teams (x4) will pay £2,000 to take part, individuals £500 each and non-shooting guests £150 each.  This includes all refreshments and activities throughout the day and attendance at the gala dinner.  In addition, some sponsorship opportunities are still available.

This is a truly unique event, in the most magnificent of surroundings and all in aid of two very deserving charities.  Your support would be hugely appreciated.
