The Countryside Alliance stand will this year be dominated by shooting – we will be building a grouse butt and emphasising the benefits of game meat by having constant game cooking demonstrations courtesy of Lee Maycock and Mark Gilchrist. 
Supporters will be able to buy their new season shooting badge (this year in racing green) along with a wide range of products in our countryside shop, from ties and pens to books, cartridge belts and branded clothing. Show goers will be able to have a clay shooting lesson on the clay lines at the show - whether a newcomer or just brushing up, contact for information and to book your slot.

A Spotlight Special, presented by Noel Thompson will be recorded in Blackstaff Studios, Great Victoria Street, Belfast, on Tuesday 18th June. 
Like ‘Question Time, the style of the programme is a question-and-answer format and of interest to people who have a keen interest in current affairs, and who want to get their voices heard by the panel.  Anyone wishing to attend should do so in their own capacity, rather than as a representative of any group or organisation.
Audience members are required to arrive at Blackstaff Studios between 6:30pm-6:45pm.  On arrival, audience members will be required to submit their questions to the panel.

CAI Sponsors the Scouts Air Rifle and Archery Championships

Keen-eyed scouts from across Northern Ireland are being challenged to get on target for two major new events designed to showcase and test their skills in air rifle and archery shooting.

For the first time The Scout Shop NI Championships in Air Rifle Shooting and Archery Shooting will take place at the Irish Game Fair and Flavour Fine food Festival at Shanes Castle, Antrim on the 29th and 30th June. Both events will be open to scouts from 12 -16 years of age.

Philip was a great country sports enthusiast and worked tirelessly for the cause, along with his extensive work for the Irish Country Sports and Country Life magazine and the Irish Game and Country Fair at Birr Castle.
